The Times of the Gentiles are Now Fulfilled

As we have learned, the voices of the dust reveal that America is a very special land. A land choice above all other lands, and the Lord has declared that whatsoever nation shall possess it shall serve him, or shall be swept off the land when they are fully ripe in iniquity.
The Gentiles were kept from a knowledge of this land, until, in the wisdom of the Lord, they were prepared to come here. It was only after they had received the word of God from the Jews and a knowledge of Christ, who is the God of the land, that they were to be delivered from the captivity they were under in Europe, brought here to America and set up as a free nation, to be blessed and prospered until they became great, above all other nations. In the words of the angel unto Nephi:

And after these plain and precious things were taken away it [the Bible] goeth forth unto all the nations of the Gentiles; and after it goeth forth unto all the nations of the Gentiles, yea, even across the many waters which thou hast seen with the Gentiles which have gone forth out of captivity, thou seest—because of the many plain and precious things which have been taken out of the book, which were plain unto the understanding of the children of men, according to the plainness which is in the Lamb of God—because of these things which are taken away out of the gospel of the Lamb, an exceedingly great many do stumble, yea, insomuch that Satan hath great power over them.
Nevertheless, thou beholdest that the Gentiles who have gone forth out of captivity, and have been lifted up by the power of God above all other nations, upon the face of the land which is choice above all other lands, which is the land that the Lord God hath covenanted with thy father that his seed should have for the land of their inheritance; wherefore, thou seest that the Lord God will not suffer that the Gentiles will utterly destroy the mixture of thy seed, which are among thy brethren. (1 Ne 13:29-30)

From these words of the angel, we see that this choice land is “the land that the Lord God hath covenanted with [Nephi’s] father that his seed should have for the land of their inheritance.” We know from our own history, that the children of Lehi, Nephi’s father, were destroyed by the coming of the Gentiles, the “white man” as they called him, but, and this is a key point to understand, while they were destroyed from off the land, they were not “utterly” destroyed.

They still live upon the land, albeit in the worst parts of it, in specially set aside lands called “Indian Reservations.” There, they have managed to survive, and the government of the Gentiles has ruled over them with a rod, grieviously. The Gentile rulers have become their “nursing fathers” and their “nursing mothers” through the Bureau of Indian Affairs, in the United States and similar arrangements in other American countries, wherein they have been greatly neglected and abused unto this very day, suffering indignities and injustices of every form and description, at the hand of the Gentiles. Yet, they have been preserved and educated in the ways of the conquering white man.

Indeed, the day is coming when these ruling Gentiles, including the kings and queens of their mother Gentile nations, shall bow down to Lehi’s descendants, with their faces towards the earth, and lick up the dust of their feet; and, in that day, his people shall know that the Holy One of Israel is the Lord; for they shall not be ashamed that wait for him.

Although that this could ever be the case may appear preposterous now, is anything too difficult for the Lord? As the voices from the dust have warned, when the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled, and they are fully ripened in iniquity, their end will come, as the rulers of America.

The Lord has preserved the record of his ancient covenant people that he might send it forth from beneath, and that he might pour down righteousness from above, bearing witness of the resurrection of his Only Begotten Son from the dead, and the resurrection of all men from the dead, that the stumbling block of the Gentiles might be taken away.

However, woe unto them, if they reject these things, after having received such great blessings of God and after having been lifted up by the power of God above all other nations on earth and having destroyed his ancient covenant people in the land that there might be room for them to possess it.

Clearly, the vengeance of a just God hangs over the Gentiles, and the sword of his justice will soon fall upon them, unless they speedily repent. The voices from the dust record the word of the Lord to the Gentiles, in America and elsewhere, in these unmistakable terms:

But behold, there shall be many—at that day when I shall proceed to do a marvelous work among them, that I may remember my covenants which I have made unto the children of men, that I may set my hand again the second time to recover my people, which are of the house of Israel;
And also, that I may remember the promises which I have made unto thee, Nephi, and also unto thy father, that I would remember your seed; and that the words of your seed should proceed forth out of my mouth unto your seed; and my words shall hiss forth unto the ends of the earth, for a standard unto my people, which are of the house of Israel;
And because my words shall hiss forth—many of the Gentiles shall say: A Bible! A Bible! We have got a Bible, and there cannot be any more Bible.
But thus saith the Lord God: O fools, they shall have a Bible; and it shall proceed forth from the Jews, mine ancient covenant people. And what thank they the Jews for the Bible which they receive from them? Yea, what do the Gentiles mean? Do they remember the travails, and the labors, and the pains of the Jews, and their diligence unto me, in bringing forth salvation unto the Gentiles?
O ye Gentiles, have ye remembered the Jews, mine ancient covenant people? Nay; but ye have cursed them, and have hated them, and have not sought to recover them. But behold, I will return all these things upon your own heads; for I the Lord have not forgotten my people.
Thou fool, that shall say: A Bible, we have got a Bible, and we need no more Bible. Have ye obtained a Bible save it were by the Jews?
Know ye not that there are more nations than one? Know ye not that I, the Lord your God, have created all men, and that I remember those who are upon the isles of the sea; and that I rule in the heavens above and in the earth beneath; and I bring forth my word unto the children of men, yea, even upon all the nations of the earth?
Wherefore murmur ye, because that ye shall receive more of my word? Know ye not that the testimony of two nations is a witness unto you that I am God, that I remember one nation like unto another? Wherefore, I speak the same words unto one nation like unto another. And when the two nations shall run together the testimony of the two nations shall run together also.
And I do this that I may prove unto many that I am the same yesterday, today, and forever; and that I speak forth my words according to mine own pleasure. And because that I have spoken one word ye need not suppose that I cannot speak another; for my work is not yet finished; neither shall it be until the end of man, neither from that time henceforth and forever.
Wherefore, because that ye have a Bible ye need not suppose that it contains all my words; neither need ye suppose that I have not caused more to be written.
For I command all men, both in the east and in the west, and in the north, and in the south, and in the islands of the sea, that they shall write the words which I speak unto them; for out of the books which shall be written I will judge the world, every man according to their works, according to that which is written.
For behold, I shall speak unto the Jews and they shall write it; and I shall also speak unto the Nephites and they shall write it; and I shall also speak unto the other tribes of the house of Israel, which I have led away, and they shall write it; and I shall also speak unto all nations of the earth and they shall write it.
And it shall come to pass that the Jews shall have the words of the Nephites, and the Nephites shall have the words of the Jews; and the Nephites and the Jews shall have the words of the lost tribes of Israel; and the lost tribes of Israel shall have the words of the Nephites and the Jews.
And it shall come to pass that my people, which are of the house of Israel, shall be gathered home unto the lands of their possessions; and my word also shall be gathered in one. And I will show unto them that fight against my word and against my people, who are of the house of Israel, that I am God, and that I covenanted with Abraham that I would remember his seed forever. (2 Ne 29)

Isaiah saw our day, when this great work of the Lord, this marvelous work and wonder, in which the Lord would turn the things of the world upside down, would come to pass, and we have lived to see it begin. It has now commenced upon all the face of the earth, and no one has the power to stop it, for it is the work of Almighty God. The word of the Holy one of Israel is “hissing” quietly, but unrelentingly, to all the nations, raising a standard for his people to gather to, just as he did the first time, when he raised up Moses to take them out of Egypt that they might serve him and prepare to abide his presence. However, that this work is turning the ways of the wicked upside down, and that it is esteemed by those who oppose Zion and her munition, as the potter’s clay, is clearly evident.
